Elissa (massage)

Elissa began studying dance at age 11 at Banbury School of Dance and then attended Episcopal High School where she was a member of the Impact Dance Company. She continued her studies in New York City with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre and Dance Theatre of Harlem where she performed with the company. Her interest in bodywork began after injuries gave her the need for physical therapy and massage therapy. She learned an ounce of prevention is truly worth a pound of cure. In 2002, she received her Associates degree in Massage Therapy from The Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences, the country’s oldest school dedicated to the study of massage and physiotherapy.


Jennifer (massage)

Jennifer has been involved in the innovative massage therapy field since graduating from Avalon School of Massage in 2004. She started her own business from doing chair massages for parties and events. She joined the Thairapy team in November of 2011 and loves meeting and working on new clients every day. Here, her specialty is promoting stress relief with a combination of Swedish massage techniques, aromatherapy oils, Himalayan salt lamps with soothing music on soft candle light. She can transform your hectic day into a mini-vacation in minutes! She knows the benefits of massage are many and long lasting.

Continuing her education is very important and fun for her, as well as, educating her clients on ways to relieve muscle tension at home and on the job. She cares and it shows!


Kristie (hair)

Kristie has been in the industry for 6 years and gets her inspiration from the ever changing fashion and music scene. Turn up the music, hand her a color brush, some shears and she’s one happy lady! But what truly excites her is collaborating creatively with clients and seeing them transform before her eyes. If asked what she enjoys most it would be blow drying and styling hair. She feels it is where the real transformation happens.

Lisa G (nails)

Lisa has been practicing the "art of nails" for over 8 years and is a licensed nail tech instructor. Her industry keeps her excited by interacting and getting to know her clients…"each day is different!" Her passion, however, is educating her clients on all facets of nail care. Lisa strives to constantly keep informed of the latest trends and styles, as well as focusing on continuing education on nails. She is dedicated to her client needs and making sure they have the best experience.


Lisa M (hair)

Lisa, with over 7 years of experience, is an innovative and expressive new stylist and is focused on receiving the latest education and training. Although she is proficient in all areas of hair, her favorites are "updo" formal styles and hair coloring. Giving the best service possible and changing the looks and lives of those she meets is what motivates her to continue excelling in the hair industry.


Margaret (hair & make-up)

For over 16 years, Margaret has been into healthy hair. Starting with the Institute of Ancestral Braiding, dealing exclusively with braids/locks and extensions. Her desire to learn more about all types of hair led her to obtain her cosmetology license. Margaret is proud to have worked in diverse salons and spas in Houston and Dallas.

Her thirst for knowledge has driven her to take numerous classes and certifications, including: Rene Furterer scalp treatments, Phyto specific relaxer system, Fusion extensions, Japanese thermal reconditioning, Wella/Loreal color certifications, PureOlogist, Short2Long strand by strand extensions, Brazilian Keratin Treatment, and Trucco make-up instruction.

Margaret has done session work with local designers and lovely brides, as well as wig designing for the Houston Ebony Opera Guild, and the Moore’s School of Music.

Margaret’s Motto is "Healthy Hair is Happy Hair!" She is passionate about giving her guest clean styles that transition from day to night, without compromising integrity of the hair.


Rondeann (hair & makeup)

Rondeann has been a hairstylist and makeup artist for over 13 years. Rondeann is a certified colorist and currently a Keune educator, traveling globally teaching the latest collections and trends in hair color. She is also a talented haircutter for both men and women, as well as special occasion hairstyling.

Rondeann's interests include fashion, learning the newest trends and techniques in the world of hair, and spending quality time with family.

Sandy (skin)

With 4 years of experience behind her, Sandy has a passion for the study of skin care. She understands women are naturally concerned with the appearance of their skin since it imparts a sense of confidence and self esteem. With 3 years of experience behind her, Sandy not only enjoys the results of caring for her own skin but she is excited in sharing her knowledge with clients. Sandy has completed courses of education from State Board Esthetics licensing, Microdermabrasion, Eminence Organics Product Knowledge courses, and Eminence Organics Massage Technique Classes. With a desire to satisfy, Sandy focuses on her clients’ main areas of concern and in a joint effort, both Sandy and her client can work together to achieve maximum results.


Umar (hair & make-up)

Umar has completed both makeup and cosmetology school and has worked as a makeup artist with two professional cosmetic lines. Continuing his education and staying current is of paramount importance to his craft. Umar epitomizes the philosophy of an individualized approach to products by using many different product lines depending on what he is trying to achieve for the look with his clients. He loves to create unique up-dos since there are so many creative ways to put up hair. Umar also enjoys coloring and highlighting hair – "It is amazing how a subtle change of color can enhance someone’s appearance". He loves to create a natural look however, it is fun to occasionally try new colors, trends, and styles! Umar believes this can be achieved through taking good care of yourself and working closely with your stylist.
